Good Work, Rookies! 

Shout out to all the new teachers out there. If you’re a rookie, it’s your first year back in the classroom, you’re student teaching, or it’s just been a tough start to the school year—Mazel Tov!! You did it. We know it wasn’t easy. You’ve taken your share of bumps and bruises. You’ve been knocked down, but you, yes you, got up again. 

If you haven’t journaled your experiences from this past semester, take some time during the holiday break to do so. What were your top two celebrations? What are two areas you wish you could’ve improved on? As we turn the page to 2025, take a little time to look ahead to the spring semester. Review those unit plans, sharpen up that final exam you give every year, and spend some time reflecting and planning. Go get ’em this spring!
